Ailsa Craig at sunset
Another amazing Ayrshire sunset taken from my local beach in Prestwick. The Ailsa Craig is a volcanic plug and is visible from the coast. It is also the home of the curling stone with the granite being used. It used to be mined there but not any more. It is a sanctuary for birds now.
